The Shahada After Wudu
أَشْهَدُ أَن لَّا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ
I bear witness that there is no god but Allah, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His servant and messenger.
When and why we say it
Say these words after you finish your wudu, while the water is still on your hands and face. You are declaring that there is no god but Allah and that Muhammad, peace be upon him, is His servant and messenger. It is the same statement that makes someone a Muslim, and repeating it keeps it close to your heart.
