I seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from the evil of what He has created.
When and why we say it
Say this dua when you arrive somewhere new, such as a park, a friend's house, or a place you have never been before. In it you seek refuge in the perfect words of Allah from anything that could harm you. It helps you feel safe and reminds you that Allah is with you wherever you go.
