Dua at the End of a Gathering
سُبْحَانَكَ اللَّهُمَّ وَبِحَمْدِكَ أَشْهَدُ أَن لَّا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنتَ أَسْتَغْفِرُكَ وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْكَ
Glory and praise be to You, O Allah. I bear witness that there is no god but You. I seek Your forgiveness and repent to You.
When and why we say it
Say this dua when a gathering is finishing, such as the end of a class, a halaqah, or a get together with friends. In it you praise Allah, say that only He deserves worship, and ask Him to forgive anything wrong that happened while you were together. It is a kind way to close any time spent with people.
