Dua After the Adhan
اللَّهُمَّ رَبَّ هَذِهِ الدَّعْوَةِ التَّامَّةِ وَالصَّلَاةِ الْقَائِمَةِ آتِ مُحَمَّدًا الْوَسِيلَةَ وَالْفَضِيلَةَ وَابْعَثْهُ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا الَّذِي وَعَدْتَهُ
O Allah, Lord of this perfect call and the prayer, grant Muhammad the privilege and eminence, and resurrect him to the praised position You have promised him.
When and why we say it
Say this dua quietly when the adhan has finished and before you stand up to pray. In it we ask Allah to give the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, the high and honoured place that Allah promised him. It is a gentle way of showing love for the Prophet every time we hear the call to prayer.
