Dua Before Sleeping
اللَّهُمَّ بِاسْمِكَ أَمُوتُ وَأَحْيَا
In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.
When and why we say it
Say this dua when you lie down in bed and are ready to sleep. It reminds us that Allah looks after us while we rest and wakes us up in the morning. The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, used to say it every night. Saying it helps you feel calm and safe as you close your eyes.
