Dua After Eating
الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ الَّذِي أَطْعَمَنَا وَسَقَانَا وَجَعَلَنَا مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِينَ
All praise is for Allah who fed us, gave us drink, and made us Muslims.
When and why we say it
Say this dua when you have finished your meal and pushed your plate away. In it you thank Allah for feeding you, for giving you something to drink, and for making you a Muslim. Saying thank you after food is a beautiful habit, and it helps you remember that not everything on your plate came by accident.
